PUCIECIE SAPHARIDE

(FR)

Performance, bodies, feminism

PUCIE is a chorographical research with an almost plastic feel staging the feminine “indecency”. Empirical evidence of the “woman being” depicted by an original, telluric, cyclical and circular dance. Dance grounded in the metabolic and biological reality of being a woman, telling the truth about this talking, screaming body using thighs, buttocks, saliva, sweat and smell. An effervescence of fluids claiming the existence of the flesh, curves, skin and waters’ inherent rhetoric.

The Sapharide company was born in February 2013 with the creation of “Infiniment Double”(Infinitely Double) by Melanie Favre. In 2015,Corps(Bodies) emerges, androgyny and gender being the key words of her creations. In 2016, Julie Botet joins Sapharide and co-creates the company’s third play,PUCIE,with Melanie Favre.
