Inthe work Déguster l’augmenté,Erika Marthins integrates data directly into the surfaces of food. Three desserts are augmented with animation, perception and sound experience. A compressed bite of edible culture that has the flavour of your own passion, like music change the storytelling and the customer experience. To create a different personalized experience changing the idea of how to eat and consume food. WithDéguster l'augmenté, the artist is seeking to reconsider our relationship with food and technology to expand the boundaries of possibilities in the world of tomorrow. This work was first realized as a Bachelor degree project at ECAL.
Interaction Designer based in Copenhagen, Erika Martins’s interests lies in exploring new solutions for future problems creating a better world using new technology with design. Collaborations and crossing disciplines in science, technology and art are the key to innovative solutions for her. Experimental research project triggers new perspectives to rethink our relationship with technology in the world of tomorrow. Erika has been cultivating her passion for design and entrepreneurship since the age of 16, which leads her to undertake a Bachelor in Interaction Design at the Ecole cantonal d’art de Lausanne ECAL with an Honours degree. This has led to opportunities and exhibitions in places like Milan, San Francisco and Hong Kong.
