TerraformaNina Gautier & Asli Atipoglu

(CH)

Workshop, Collaboration, waste, alternative production, textile, resources

During the 6th edition of the italian festival Terraforma, foodculture days invites designer Nina Gautier (CH) and artist Asli Atipoglu (NL) to create a vivid atmospheric installation dedicated to one very basic matter: food and its inherent colour property. The rhythmic space consists of hand dyed cotton fabric coloured with food leftovers from the festival. The duality of the culinary and simultaneous colour quality of food is unified in this installation and the waste is given a second purpose.

The artists will be here to exchange with the visitors about waste, circular economy and collaborative practices between artists, chefs and designers.

“We use food as a tool for dialogue”.

Terraforma innovates the concept of musical experience by emphasizing the relationship between event and impact, incubating moods and forms of sensibility durable in time. We want to breed a new concept of listening, to encompass everything that music expresses and reveals; let it be inside, around or outside us, our society and the world.
