However, with the rise of the agrochemical industry and its influence on agriculture, wine has turned into much more than fermented grapes weathered by ancient supports such as sulfur and copper. Natural wine has made a strong comeback over the past two decades and is now a major wine trend internationally. We will talk to young winegrowers from Valais to learn about their vision of what natural wine is, their motivations for making the transition to this alternative production and especially the special relationship that wines have with the terroir.
