Dream mealAurélien Guala

The Vevey Library, foodculture days and several partners are joining forces to offer a meal in a restaurant to people who are usually deprived of one. The menu will be prepared by the participants with the chef Aurélien Guala. This action is guided by the observation that food, a source of well-being, is also a marker of social inequality. Some people ask themselves: “What am I going to eat?”,others: “Am I going to eat?”. While Switzerland is a country characterized by wealth

and abundance, many disadvantaged people face difficulties in feeding themselves with quality products. Eating in a way that is respectful of one’s health and the environment remains a right to be conquered.

A project supported by the Integration Office of the City of Vevey, in collaboration with foodculture days, Le Café littéraire and Caritas Vevey.
